Making wines to use for BH or FB runs is not such a chore when you take in the fact of what having the wine will do for your run. The Old Swordsman will accept your wine and then clear out all the annoying extra mobs from the whole place for you. No more battling through the halls to get to the boss. This is great when you also think of the repair costs for your gear that just got lowered because to the much reduced combat. One important note to remember here is that if you need a mob kill count, you won't get them by using wines. You don't get any credit at all for what the Old Swordsman clears out.
Here's the list wine list and what it takes to make each one. Wines are made from easily gathered, free materials that you must only spend a little of your time to gather.
19 = Osmanthus :: requires 10 each of logs, pig iron, sandstone and coal dust.
29 = Bamboo :: req. 2 each of rough lumber, gravel, high carbon steel and coal.
39 = Daughters :: req. 8 each of the above ingredients.
51 = Fragrances :: req. 8 each of Fine lumber, refined steel, anthracite, rubstone powder
59 = Chienan Spring :: 10 each of above.
69 = Acientwell :: req. 10 each of high grade lumber, steel alloy, charcoal, corrundum powder
79 = Afterglow :: 15 each of above required.
89 = Tukang's :: 15 each of Lumber essence, high steel alloy, granite, extruded charcoal
99 = Everlasting Sorrow :: 20 each of above.
If you go to the wine merchant in West Archosaur, he has these listed in this order so you can buy or make them through him. There are usually a few catshops selling wines for the popular BH runs (59 and higher usually) needing them with prices a little cheaper than the NPC asks. It pays to shop around the catshops near the wine merchant and near the HeadHunter NPC.
